WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that concentrates on constantly varied functional movements to improve physical fitness and helps people improve in all aspects of their life. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any individual regardless of fitness or experience. The CrossFit foundations course is designed to teach you how to move safely then once you’re comfortable we’ll show you how to gradually build up the intensity. Our sessions are 1 hour long including your warm up, strength/ skill work and conditioning. To achieve a higher level of fitness we need a higher level of intensity. Don’t worry, gradual increases will lead to massive gains over time, anyone can do CrossFit!
An aspect of CrossFit that we value equally with fitness is our amazing community! We are more than a gym, we’re a community of people who meet regularly to improve our lives. Every member has similar goals and provide tremendous support for one another as they work to achieve those goals, it’s very common to form new friendships and relationships here. We have frequent social events held outside of the gym where members who may come at different times can mix it up socially, it’s always nice to have a night out with good people.
The combination of a great fitness program and a community of like minded people is something commercial gyms just can’t offer and can only be experienced by actually coming in and trying it out. If you’re not into making friends, getting fit and having fun this may not be the right place for you.
