At CrossFit Grimsby we are dedicated to making the introduction process for our program as smooth as possible. Each new member is required to undertake our four-week foundations course, totalling 12 training days that are aimed at familiarising all potential members with the movements and culture of CrossFit.
STEP 1 – FOUNDATIONS COURSE

Foundations courses are run every 2nd month and take place on a Monday and Wednesday at 7pm and Friday at 6pm
It’s very important that you attend these 12 foundations sessions so that upon completion of the course you can move into the CrossFit sessions with a clear understanding of correct mechanics of movements along with nutrition. Over the 12 sessions you will even see some big changes in your physique! If wish to get started now and can’t wait for the next foundations course to start, you can train with one of our coaches privately, though there is an additional cost of £25 per session for the trainer’s time. The private foundations session is a great opportunity to take advantage of the coaches time and experience and will be more tailored to fit your individual needs. From the outside CrossFit can appear intimidating and out of reach to many people. This could not be further from the truth and our foundations course should dispel that right away. Regardless of your current fitness level or athletic ability we start every new member out along the same journey, and guide you to success. By the time you complete our foundations course you should be ready to join the group CrossFit sessions and start training with our experienced members. That being said, once you join group sessions you will not be left alone, our highly knowledgeable coaching staff will be there to guide you on your fitness journey.
